The Centre for Confidence and Well-Being Event: Nature Connection: Nurturing Hope - 02/09/2010

The Centre for Confidence and Well-being is very keen to promote being outdoors as a way to enhance young people's well-being and resilience.

For this reason the Centre for Confidence and Well-Being are organising a course on the 2nd September in Pollok Park, Glasgow with Maeve Gavin who has undertaken some of the latest training in the US on Nature Connection.

This one day taster day is very much geared to skill up those working with children young people to have the confidence to introduce them to some ways to get the benefits of connecting more fully with nature. We know that there are various course of this type on but many of them are very expensive and beyond organisations' budgets. We are only charging £50 for one day.

A similar course on the 3rd is aimed at those working with adults.
